Tiago Pires Surf School

The Tiago Pires Surf School is a project focussed on the young kids, looking for and amongst them, to form and train surfers for the future. The school also has a strong element of social work.

This project was born from Tiago Pires’s wish to actively stimulate a new generation of surfers in Portugal, sharing what he has been learning in his career at the surf’s highest stages. Among the school’s services, we highlight the development of competition skills (Competition Area), a course for kids and teenagers (Surfer Kids), as well as surf lessons for adults.
At a social level, Tiago Pires Surf School will look to develop social support actions along with institutions of solidarity, and create and put into practice partnerships with other schools, promoting exchanges between them.

The instructors, being qualified, will pass on the salty knowledge that only years of experience riding Portuguese best waves and practise on a competition level are able to offer. Together, they count decades of knowledge in Ericeira and Portugal waves. There will always be a special attention and sensibility towards these little surfers. Because not only the technique but also the spirit of surfing is something to be cherished at Tiago Pires Surf School.
